Gabriel Aliu

Gabriel Aliu is an internationally qualified tax lawyer with an LLM in International Taxation from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law.
Gabriel has practiced and researches international tax law and policy, tax dispute resolution, and African tax and economic advancement. His research is widely published.
Prior to his LLM at the University of Florida, Gabriel worked as a Tax, Finance and Capital Markets associate at one of the largest international law firms headquartered in sub-Saharan Africa. In that time, Gabriel had the opportunity to advise clients including governments, multinational organizations and national corporations on efficient management of their tax affairs, structuring of financing transactions and resolution of tax disputes.
Gabriel is looking forward to expanding his expertise in international tax issues at FACT, as well as participating in the evolution of taxation and other economic issues in Nigeria and the broader African tax space.
