Olivia Meade

Policy Intern

Before joining the FACT coalition, Olivia worked as an advocacy assistant with the United Nations Association of the National Capital Area conducting Sustainable Development Goal research in the DMV area and producing advocacy materials related to UN goals. 

Olivia is a current second-year graduate student at American University working towards a Master’s degree in International Affairs: U.S Foreign Policy and National Security. Olivia holds a position as Student Conduct Council member for the university. She became passionate about International Affairs through undergrad courses at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. 

During her undergraduate studies, Olivia was able to conduct research ranging from diversity and inclusion within her major to writing a thesis pertaining to citizen’s perception of terrorism and economics and the effectiveness of foreign spending within Middle Eastern countries.
