Letter to FASB from FACT and 26 Other Groups Urging Country-by-Country Reporting

The FACT Coalition and a broad alliance of 26 other organizations and coalitions submitted comments to the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB)—urging the body to require multinational companies to be more transparent about their tax practices.

While the groups welcomed FASB’s move toward requiring more disclosure, they pushed FASB to go much further and require companies to publicly disclose their revenues, profits, and taxes on a country-by-country basis.

FACT issued a related press release on the letter here.
