Luke Rowe

Policy Fellow

Luke is a recent LL.M. graduate from the Georgetown University Law Center, where he focused on international economic law and policy and interned with the International Monetary Fund’s Financial Integrity Division. He is also currently a Research Fellow at Georgetown Law’s Center on Inclusive Trade and Development. 

An Australian qualified lawyer, Luke completed his Juris Doctor at the University of New South Wales, Australia, and University of Zurich, Switzerland, where he developed an interest in issues of financial integrity in the international economy. He then worked and researched in international economic law and World Trade Organization issues as a paralegal and research assistant. 

He has clerked at the Supreme Court of New South Wales, Australia, working on criminal law cases, including on tax evasion, and practiced at an international law firm in Sydney, Australia, working in commercial litigation and regulatory investigations, including on matters of anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing compliance programs in the banking sector.
